AI Support Platform
An AI-powered ticketing platform that tracks work, flags stalls, and keeps a large support operation accountable. Designed, built, and running in production.
The Creative Technologist.
That's Roberto Diaz.
Infrastructure, creative workflows, media systems, and content security for teams that make film, TV, and content.
Supported directly and through the studios and agencies I've served
About Me (&)
Nine years across live production, post-production, creative agencies, and enterprise entertainment. Most IT people don't get creative work, and most creatives don't get enterprise tech. I've lived in both. Flip the cards.
Hands-on IT from day one.
Flip ↻I learned by doing: desktops, servers, networks, and every problem nobody else wanted to touch. What stuck early is that I don't just like fixing technology, I like designing how it should work in the first place.
Broadcast with no second take.
Flip ↻I built end-to-end broadcast and livestream environments from nothing: encoders, video switchers, networked audio, and segmented networks that kept streams stable when failure would happen in front of everyone.
Media ops and cinematography.
Flip ↻Ingest, color workflows, backups, delivery, and shooting branded content. Being behind the camera and behind the systems changed how I build: I stopped building for IT and started building for the people doing the work.
Trailers, promos, hard deadlines.
Flip ↻Supporting editors and 3D artists cutting high-end campaigns for film and streaming. Editorial systems, media servers, shared storage, and remote workstations that let artists stay in flow when deadlines are measured in hours.
Built an IT function from zero.
Flip ↻Built and ran the entire IT function for a creative studio trusted with pre-release content from major film studios: security, networks, storage, identity, budgets, and a TPN-aligned remote platform for hundreds of artists.
Multi-region entertainment ops.
Flip ↻Running IT and AV operations across a multi-region enterprise environment in entertainment, where technology decisions touch thousands of people. Same obsession as day one, new tools: AI opened a whole new layer of what I can build.
Selected Work
Systems I've designed, built, and run. Different rooms, same standard: it has to work every single day, for the people who rely on it.
An AI-powered ticketing platform that tracks work, flags stalls, and keeps a large support operation accountable. Designed, built, and running in production.
A secure work-from-home platform that let hundreds of artists edit and finish from anywhere, on hundreds of machines, without compromising protected content.
End-to-end broadcast and livestream environments: encoders, switchers, networked audio, and redundant streaming paths built for zero-failure moments.
High-performance networks and shared storage designed for editorial teams, where moving heavy media fast is the difference between making a deadline and missing it.
Studio-grade security aligned to the industry's strictest standards, trusted with pre-release material: access controls, segmentation, and audits passed.
A Connect Groups platform for churches: publish group listings, approve join requests, and message members without exposing personal phone numbers. Live product, built and shipped solo.
A native Mac app that syncs events between calendars already set up in Apple Calendar. No OAuth, no new login, no blocked SAML integrations, all local.
Capabilities Overview
One person who understands enterprise technology and how creative work actually gets made. Nothing lost in translation.
Avid, Adobe, editorial pipelines, color, ingest to delivery. I speak post-production natively, not through a translator.
Networks, servers, storage, identity, and device fleets designed to be fast, secure, and boring in the best way possible.
Repetitive work eliminated with automation, AI tooling, and custom platforms that pay for themselves.
TPN-aligned content security and access control that protects the work without slowing it down.
Edit bays, review rooms, meeting spaces, and broadcast systems engineered at enterprise scale and tuned for real humans.

FAQ
Studios, post houses, trailer houses, agencies, production companies, and growing businesses. Anywhere technology needs to quietly power creative work instead of getting in its way.
Because most IT people don't understand creative workflows, and most creatives don't understand enterprise technology. I've spent nine years living in both worlds, so nothing gets lost in translation.
Yes. I'm based in Los Angeles and work with teams anywhere. For buildouts and projects that need hands on hardware, I plan on-site time around the work.
Both, and that's the point. I can advise at the executive level and then actually build the thing. No handoff gap between the plan and the execution.
Of course. I've spent years working under the entertainment industry's strictest content-security standards, protecting unreleased material. Discretion is the default.
